AFRICA WORLD AIRLINES APPOINTS APG AS ITS GSA IN NIGERIA
Africa World Airlines, based in Ghana, in consultation with APG Ghana, has chosen APG as its airline representative in Nigeria.
As part of the agreement, APG Nigeria will be providing full sales and marketing services as well ticketing facilities.
Djibril Taboure, Vice President, Middle East and Africa for APG, commented “We are delighted to be working with Africa World Airlines in Nigeria, as the airline grows from strength to strength”.
APG Nigeria already represents a number of airlines including Hong Kong Airlines , China Southern Airlines, Rwandair and TAAG Angola Airlines.
Africa World Airlines Limited (AWA) is a Ghanaian registered private-sector airline company formed to provide competitive airline passenger services from Accra to domestic and regional destinations. Africa World Airlines, conceived by home-grown Ghanaian entrepreneur Togbe Afede XIV, is a joint venture between China’s HNA Group, the parent company of the fourth largest airline in China, Hainan Airlines, CADFUND also from China, Strategic African Securities (SAS) and SSNIT, both Ghanaian investors.
