APG is pleased to announce a new GSA relationship with Canada’s most preferred airline WestJet, with immediate effect.  The airline which is recognized as one of Canada’s top employers offer scheduled service to more than 90 destinations in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and Europe.

APG will be providing full sales and marketing services as well as call centre and ticketing facilities in Ireland and the UK.

The second largest Canadian carrier was founded in Calgary  in 1996 and carried 583,000 passengers to 5 destinations with 3 aircrafts in its first year. By 2013 the airline carried 18.5 million passengers to 86 destinations. Today WestJet's modern fleet comprises of 105 aircrafts including B737 and Q400 aircraft types and awaiting delivery of an additional 4 Boeing 767s. The airline flew a record 1.6 million guests for the month of January  this year.

This summer WestJet will recommence their seasonal daily frequency between Dublin and St. John's, Newfoundland and onwards to Toronto. In addition Friday 29th May sees WestJet commence seasonal daily services from Glasgow to Halifax, Nova Scotia and onwards to Toronto creating a direct service between Scotland and Canada.
