IATA BSP Consolidator System : IBCS
IBCS affords variable cost access for Airlines to 81 BSPs and 64,000 IATA travel agents worldwide. Jointly developed with IATA over eight years ago, APG Global Associates have introduced more than 200 airlines into the Billing and Settlement Plans around the world.
IBCS allows big carriers to scout for incremental revenues from remote or marginal markets; and small carriers to penetrate and distribute their product in big markets on a “pay as you earn” basis.
APG Global Associates sell and service the IBCS Program on behalf of IATA and acts as the interface between the Airline, the local IATA BSP Office and the IATA Accredited Travel Agents. IBCS provides in particular:
- Assistance in setting up local banking and credit card relations
- Support to the IATA travel agents on behalf of the carriers
- Preliminary Sales Audit
- Reconciliation of Sales and Disbursements
- Raising of Agency Debit & Credit Memos
IWCS (IATA Weblink Consolidator System)
Essentially IBCS for the Low Cost Carrier (LCC) market sector, IWCS permits Low Cost Carrier business model airlines to sell directly to travel agents and the public via their own Internet Booking Engine (IBE) and to settle the transaction via BSPs worldwide. IWCS is an exclusive product of APG Global Associates
