Hunnu Air (MR/861) has joined ARC as a participating carrier effective with sales on Monday, April 14, 2014 (PED 04/20/14). Hunnu Air was introduced to the Airlines Reporting Corporation ASP Coordination Program (AACP) by APG UK in London.

Previously known as Mongolian Airlines, Hunnu Air was established in September 2011. It is the largest private airline, and the only carrier in Mongolia, serving both domestic and major international destinations.

Currently, Hunnu Air operates scheduled flights to nine domestic destinations in Mongolia, including: Dalanzadgad (DLZ), Murun (MXV), Choibalsan (COQ), Hovd (HVD), Altai (LTI), Bayankhongor (BYN), Hovdyn Bulgan (HBU) and Donoi (ULZ); two destinations in China (Manzhouli and Hailer); as well as international service to Hong Kong and Bangkok.

Hunnu Air operates two Airbus A319-100s in a two-class configuration (12 business class and 108 economy) and three Fokker 50s in an all economy class layout. New international service is planned to Shanghai and Paris in the second quarter of 2014, and the airline is acquiring a new Airbus A-330-200 aircraft to facilitate the service on the route.

Hunnu Air is available in Sabre and Amadeus DSSs and has elected the General Concurrence method of agent appointment whereby all ARC agents are automatically appointed as agents of Hunnu Air.

The airline accepts cash only as the form of payment at this time but is planning to offer Visa/MasterCard, American Express and UATP in the near future.
