UATP is a form of payment created by and for airlines. It helps the airline industry to save approximately 200 million USD per year in credit card costs. In 2014, the annual volume of transactions on UATP reached USD 14 billion worldwide.
Although UATP is accepted by a majority of airlines, the transactions in emerging markets remains limited.
In partnership with UATP, APG created a white-label payment solution for carriers wanting to become « virtual » UATP issuers at a variable cost. This tailored product called ACTP, commercialized by the APG Network, is a new solution for underserved corporate card markets. With ACTP, airlines can now enhance their offer towards corporate customers and better target a segment which is a source of higher yield.
Small and mid-sized carriers looking for an affordable UATP platform with a forecast of 1 to 30 million USD in UATP transactions. ACTP is a genuine marketing tool for airlines who are seeking to develop their brand awareness towards corporate customers.
ACTP provides partner airlines with a unique white-label payment solution in order to generate extra sales on the corporate segment. Partner airlines now have the possibility to bring extra added value to corporate customers by offering them a secured means of payment that is free of charge and that will help them to better control their travel expenses.
The only prerequisite for ACTP is that airlines must accept UATP as a form of payment.
